What is the difference between Preeti and Unicode?
Preeti is an old font where English keys draw Nepali letters, so the text only looks Nepali when the Preeti font is installed. Unicode is the modern standard: Nepali letters show correctly on every phone, computer and website.
Why does my Unicode to Preeti result look like English letters?
That is expected. Preeti text is stored as English characters. Paste it into a document and set the font to Preeti to see the Nepali letters.
What does Keep English words do?
Text copied from PDFs often mixes real English words with Preeti. With this option on, English words, acronyms, numbers and links stay as they are and only the Preeti parts are converted.
